Change for a better future
EcoHydroxyPure is dedicated to creating the best possible environment for underwater ecosystems and habitats. Protecting our ecological environment—encompassing both land and water resources, as well as habitats and ecosystems—is a responsibility that falls to all of us. Our project primarily focuses on the oceans, their ecosystems, and the sea life that inhabits them. Ocean habitats are endangered due to pollution, human activities such as overfishing, the occupation of natural spring water beds, and the failure to maintain healthy ecosystems.
IT’S TIME TO
Our theme for this year is "Submerged." As part of this theme, we conducted several brainstorming sessions and research, ultimately deciding to focus our innovation project on the oceans. In the water, we engage in numerous activities, including transportation and the use of submarines. As we adopt new technologies, we also recognize our responsibility to protect the underwater habitat for future generations.
Data gathering
For data gathering, we met with Subject Matter Experts such as Naturalists and Scientists. We visited different water bodies for data collection, including the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Tule Ponds, and Lake Elizabeth. We have asked below questions like
How are they measuring the oxygen levels?
What are you guys doing to reduce the acidity in the ocean?
What are the techniques you are using to protect sea species?
What is harming / helping the wildlife in the area?
How are they managing extreme temperatures?
Did you guys use any artificial habitat?
How are we measuring the safety levels for the habitat?
What levels are needed and how do they improve the water quality for fish?
What tools are you using to measure oxygen in water?
1. What helps the environment to help the underwater habitats and ecosystems?
2. What solutions can solve pollution for sea life?
3. What problems can you relate?
4. Which kinds of sea life we can save from extinction?
5. What would you change to improve our environment?
6. How would you solve underwater species from extinction?
For our innovation project, all five of us conducted a community survey with different people. We gathered all the responses, and most of the feedback focused on reducing pollution, protecting endangered sea animals like beluga whales, turtles, and sharks, as well as preserving ecosystems. We included the following questions as part of the survey.

Research Data
In the third step, we gathered data online and identified two major problems affecting sea habitats: pollution and endangered ecosystems. More than 50 sea animals are currently in danger.
The sea animals and ecosystems are in danger due to pollution and human intervention, such as occupying the spring waters, which causes low waterbed levels.
Ocean Animals that are in danger due to Pollution
Beluga Whales
The Hawksbill Turtle
Florida Manatee
Sea Birds
Seals and Sea Lions
Endangered Eco System
Caribbean Coral Reefs
Alaskan Kelp Forest
Murray Darling Basin – Australia
Sydney Coastal Wetlands
South Karst Springs
Coorong Lagoon and Murray River Estuary.
Mountain 'fynbos' on Cape Town
Rhineland raised bogs

POOL WATER AFTER MIXING BAKING SODA : 7.8
We identified two major issues through our data gathering: pollution and endangered ecosystems. To address pollution, we are educating communities on how to avoid plastic and use biodegradable products. We are also focusing on maintaining healthy ecosystems by monitoring pH levels in various water sources. We conducted pH level tests on different types of water and found that baking soda and limestone can help balance these levels. Additionally, we aim to enhance oxygen levels in marine habitats by protecting coral reefs. For more information, please check out our videos on our website.
